It is good that we beat the Welsh but I was quite anxious before the clash. Having to wait the afternoon before playing can be rather nerve-wracking.
Also Wales have given us a hard time for the past three years and I was expecting them to be up for it after their disappointing start to the tournament.
They definitely managed to unsettle us. We were not concentrated enough at the start. We did not play consistently enough throughout the match and we had to remain wary right up to the end.
Wales made a lot of mistakes in areas of the game where they are usually good. We took advantage of that situation but we had to be careful all the time.
This lapse of form is due to the fact that it was our first match at home and that the public was expecting a huge performance from France.
We were the favourites and the pressure was high. But I want to congratulate the players for being able to win despite the setbacks.
It was just a little warning but it is now necessary to remain focused until the end of the RBS 6 Nations.
We will travel to England with humility. Even if they had a bad day against Ireland and their spirit has been affected, they will bounce back and be determined to win at Twickenham where it is always difficult to beat them.
We must remain confident about what is within our grasp. We are the only team capable of winning the Grand Slam this year.
