Bortolami in positive mood

Italy captain Marco Bortolami is confident the Azzurri can improve on their poor start to the RBS 6 Nations when they travel to London this weekend to face England.

The Italians suffered a heavy 39-3 defeat against France at the Stadio Flaminio over the weekend, and Bortolami said: I am fortunate because I dont think too much about negative episodes.

My hope is that the fans will continue to support us with the same passion.

My promise and that of the team is that will not disappoint them. Be hopeful the results will arrive.

Nevertheless, the Italians do not appear to be playing England at the right time.

On Saturday, we face a strong team like England that will be charged up after their convincing victory against Scotland, Bortolami said.

They will give 100% on the pitch.
