Scotland call Hall
9 October 2006, 12:49 pm
Newport Gwent Dragons forward Andrew Hall has been drafted into the Scotland training squad.
The 27-year-old will act as second-row cover after Nathan Hines and Scott MacLeod withdrew from the two-day session at Murrayfield.

Hines suffered a facial injury while playing for Perpignan in the defeat at Biarritz and will undergo a scan later on Monday.

MacLeod picked up a knee problem during Llanelli Scarlets EDF Energy Cup game against NEC Harlequins.

Wing Sean Lamont missed training today after sustaining bruising to his leg while playing for Northampton Saints in the defeat by the Dragons at the weekend.

Edinburgh Gunners back-row forward Simon Taylor has linked up with the squad for non-contact training after recovering from a knee operation in the summer.
