Humphreys loaned to Tykes

Former Ireland and Ulster Under 21 stand off Ian Humphreys has been loaned to Leeds Tykes from Leicester Tigers.

Leeds were relegated from the Guinness Premiership last season and Humphreys will start Sundays game against Sedgley Park on the bench.

Humphreys, who moved from Belfast Harlequins the season before last, is the current leading points scorer in the Guinness A League with 58 points.

Brother of former Ireland fly-half David, the younger Humphreys also captained Ireland in the Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament in Hong Kong last season.
