Azzurri suffer Sepe blow

Italy starlet Michele Sepe will miss next month's World Cup qualifier against Portugal after injuring his ankle.

The Almaviva Capitolina Rugby fly-half was carried off just 12 minutes into his clubs match with Arix Viadana last weekend and will be out of action for up to a month, missing the Azzurri qualifier on October 11.

Italy head coach Pierre Berbizier has called up Bayonnes Ramiro Pez, who scored eight points on his return from injury last weekend, to replace the 19-year-old.
