Murphy stars for Tigers

Ireland interntaional Geordan Murphy scored two early tries to pave the way for Leicester Tigers' 26-18 win over Munster at Musgrave Park.

He touched down on the right following Louis Deacons powerful run shortly after Jeremy Manning had opened the scoring for Munster with a penalty.

Tom Varndell set Murphy up for his second midway through the first half, although Manning responded in kind for the hosts.

Seru Rabeni cut Munsters comeback short when he scored immediately after the restart, and Sam Vestys sensational try - he burst through a gap to charge home from 40 yards - ensured James Coughlans effort was merely a consolation.
