France coach Bernard Laporte has called up Brive flanker Damien Chouly for the national team's first training camp of the 2006-07 season.
It is the first time the 20-year-old, who played in this season's Under-21 World Championship-winning side, has linked up with Les Bleus.
He is among a list of 51 players expected to gather near Paris this week before starting a special training session in Marcoussis on July 31.
Toulouse centre Yannick Jauzion will join his team-mates at a later date as he is still suffering from a calf injury picked up during France's 36-26 victory over South Africa in June.
But Biarritz full-back Nicolas Brusque, Brive centre Ludovic Valbon, Toulon fly-half Yann Delaigue, hooker Sebastien Bruno of Sale and Perpignan prop Nicolas Mas have not been called up.
The camp forms the first part of Laporte's preparation for the World Cup, which takes place on home soil in September and October next year.
