Romania 14-62 France

France began their two-Test summer programme in convincing fashion with a 62-14 victory over Romania in Bucharest on Saturday.

The 2006 RBS 6 Nations champions led 31-6 at the break thanks to tries from Yannick Jauzion, Remy Martin, Thierry Dusautoir and Damien Traille.

Coach Bernard Laporte made wholesale changes at half-time but France added further scores through Sylvain Marconnet, Thomas Castaignede - playing at fly-half in Frederic Michalak's absence - Dimitri Szarzewski, Julien Laharrague and David Marty.

Romania's only try came from Catalin Fercu as they slipped to a 41st defeat in 49 games against Les Bleus, who now turn their thoughts to next Saturday's clash against South Africa.
