Italy centre Andrea Masi believes his injury problems are finally behind him after coming through his competitive comeback unscathed.
The 25-year-old, who missed the Azzurris RBS 6 Nations campaign, made a cameo appearance for his club Viadana in their 21-14 Super 10 home defeat to Treviso.
Masi has been struck down by injury since last summers tours of Argentina and Australia but is now eager to join the party for the forthcoming trips to Japan and Fiji.
In the course of the 2005 6 Nations I began to suffer tendon problems, Masi said.
When last years Super 10 championship finished I went on the summer tour of Argentina and Australia. Then sadly I had to stop to treat myself again.
But the worst is in the past. Im looking forward to playing in the next summer tour to Japan and Fiji.
I will wait for a call from my coach. Certainly, it will be hard to start again, but Im sure I will back stronger than ever.
