Scotland international Nikki Walker has signed a two-year deal with the Ospreys.
The 24-year-old will leave Border Reivers to join the Welsh club at the end of the current season.
The winger, who has not played for his country at senior level since November 2002, is hoping the move can act as a catalyst for a return to the national side.
Walker said: My time with the Borders has been great and I have been fortunate to be involved with a lot of very good players and excellent coaches at the Reivers.
The current set-up is going from strength to strength, but I need to make a move at this stage of my career as I want to push as hard as possible for a place in the Scotland squad for next year's World Cup and I think playing in a new and challenging environment will give me that opportunity.
