Week Four
27 February 2006, 11:51 am
In the first half against Italy, France were edgy and made lots of mistakes. If we want to be world champions, our game will really have to improve.
In the second half, it was much better and, as far I am concerned, I would like see that for the whole 80 minutes, not just 40.

France have two different sides to their game, which does not bode well for the rest of the competition. We will have problems if we play like that against England.

We have potential, but the most important thing is to take control of the game. I have hope, but also doubts.

We beat Italy by instinct and reaction, not by playing. I know the players are tired but the World Cup is coming and we have to be ready.

I think England were probably disappointed by their defeat to Scotland, but they are still a major force in rugby.

I know they lost several leaders after the World Cup, but they have recovered their potential. It will be a big match as usual, and probably not a very open game.

In the right frame of mind, France can win. I think the French players will prepare for this match differently to how they did against Italy.

You can not compare Italy and England - you have to be strong to beat England.
