It was an excellent performance from England on Saturday. They were clinical, ruthless - they took their chances exceedingly well.
Wales were full of endeavour and tried to keep the ball as we expected but were never able to gain a solid enough platform and cross the gainline.
England defended well and pushed Wales onto the flanks. We didn't really match them physically.
Wales were having to desperately throw the ball out of the tackle any way they could.
There was never any composure in the Welsh game. We like to play with tempo but it requires composure as well.
The half-backs in particular have to lift their heads up and have a look to see what's happening - but not once were the Wales half-backs able to do that.
Martyn Williams' sin-binning was a little harsh and came at a crucial point. It probably didn't have too much bearing on the result - but it did on the margin of victory.

It was a thoroughly professional performance by England and they'll be full of confidence as they approach the next game in Italy.

It's not all down to injuries but being without three or four key personnel is bound to have an effect - and that simply showed on Saturday.
We'll have to have a look to see if we can add some more muscle in the midfield for the Scots' visit.

Martyn Williams had an excellent match at Twickenham. I also thought Duncan and Adam Jones had very solid games so, although the Grand Slam dream is over for this year, there are still plenty of positives.
Gareth Cooper will be a loss after suffering a dislocated shoulder but fortunately scrum-half is one of the few positions where Wales do have strength - Mike Phillips can come on to the bench.
Wales' opening day victory over England last year shaped the season for both teams - let's hope this year's result doesn't do the same!
