Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has called 25 players to a training camp in Rome taking place from January 22-26 as he continues his preparations for this year's RBS 6 Nations.
Treviso duo Simon Picone and Denis Dallan return to the squad after missing Novembers Test matches against Argentina, Tonga and Fiji due to injuries, while Calvisano prop Salvatore Perugini is also back after a lay-off.
Team manager Carlo Cecchinatao said: We chose the best players around at present for next weeks meeting ahead of the RBS Six Nations.
We are hoping to go into the tournament without any injuries. This is strong group and all players called for the meeting are looking forward to playing.
