Ireland have confirmed a return clash with Australia at Subaico Oval in Perth on June 24, 2006, where they will bid to regain the Lansdowne Cup.
The Wallabies retained the trophy they have held since 2002 thanks to a 30-14 triumph at Lansdowne Road in November, ending a run of seven defeats although it was not enough to save coach Eddie Jones' job.
Australia came out on top 45-16 the last time the two sides met in Western Australia and Brian O'Driscoll's men will be looking to break a three-match losing streak against their hosts, which also included the narrow 17-16 loss at the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
Tickets for the clash will go on sale in May next year.
