Sanderson staying at Sixways

Worcester captain Pat Sanderson has agreed a new contract to keep him at Sixways until 2008.

The England internationals current deal expires at the end of this season, but a two-year contract extension has now been agreed.

Pat indicated that he was keen to stay beyond this season, and for obvious reasons we were keen to keep him, said Worcester rugby director John Brain.

Pat has made an outstanding contribution, both on and off the pitch, since his arrival at Worcester, and we are delighted that he has pledged his long-term future to the club.
