Former Ireland captain Keith Wood has been inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame.
Team RBS member Wood is one of 12 former players to be named on the 2005 list of inductees, along with the last three World Cup-winning captains - South Africa's Francois Pienaar, Australia's John Eales and Martin Johnson of England.
Wood won 58 caps - an Irish record for a hooker - and skippered his country 36 times. He appeared in three World Cups, retiring after Ireland were eliminated by France at the 2003 tournament in Australia.
The shortlist for the biennial induction is compiled through nominations from 35 journalists, and the final inductee list is decided by polling 12 Trustees of the International Rugby Hall of Fame, many of whom are current inductees.
