Pez gets Azzurri recall

Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has called up former Bath and Leicester Tigers fly-half Ramiro Pez in place of the injured Andrea Scanavacca for the current tour of Argentina.

Pez, who was born in Argentina before moving to Italy in 2000, has 16 caps for the Azzurri and could be in line to face the Pumas this Saturday.

Pez said: I'm very happy to be part of the Azzurri team again, even if I have been called in to replace injured players.

I feel good to be part of it and I will give all Ive got to stay in this team and I hope to play against a strong team like Argentina.
