Ulster duo Matt McCullough and Roger Wilson will make their Ireland debuts against Japan in the first Test in Osaka on Sunday.
Niall ODonovans side is a mix of youth and experience and alongside lock McCullough and number eight Wilson will be provincial team-mates David Humphreys, who captains the side, and 21-year-old Tommy Bowe.
Girvan Dempsey, Kevin Maggs, Humphreys, Peter Stringer and Frankie Sheahan provide experience, while Harlequins utility back Gavin Duffy stands in for British & Irish Lions captain Brian ODriscoll.
