Berbizier delight at tour win

Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has praised his team's work ethic after their superb victory over an Argentina XV in San Salvador.

Berbizier, who took over from John Kirwan in April, believes the Azzurris 32-14 win was the result of some excellent preparation.

The result was particularly sweet for Berbiziers men, after they lost the corresponding fixture 62-12 four years ago.

I'm not surprised about this win, Berbizier said. In these few days (since arriving in Argentina) my team has worked very well.

To be honest I didn't think they (players) would be as dedicated from the start.

We started training, trying to get confidence with the ball and trying to get the right team spirit.

I wasn't sure about winning against Argentina, but I knew my team was up to play a great game, I saw how they trained and they were all focused to play at their best.
