France have included five new players in their squad to face South Africa and Australia in June and July.
Biarritz forwards Denis Avril and Thierry Dusatoir, Toulouse lock Romain Millo-Chluski and centre Florian Fritz, plus Narbonne winger Vincent Candelon all come into Bernard Laportes squad.
Veteran winger Christophe Dominici was expected to be rested for the fixtures but is included in the party after Aurelien Rougerie was forced to pull out with a shoulder injury.
Fabien Pelous absence means the captains armband will be shared by second row Jerome Thion and scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili. Influential flanker Serge Betsen is rested.
The squad will fly to South Africa on June 12 and will compete in two matches against the Springboks on June 18 (Durban) and June 25 (Port Elizabeth) before travelling to take on
Australia in Brisbane on July 2.
Laporte said: We expect to have big games and difficult games against South Africa and Australia.
All 28 players will get a game on the tour and Im sure it will be a superb experience for them.
South Africa and Australia are massive rugby nations so these games provide a great opportunity for France to continue their good form from the RBS 6 Nations.
He added: There are 15 games left for France before the World Cup and there are still 45 players in competition for places.
