Lo Cicero relishing Baa-Baas test

Italy prop Andrea Lo Cicero cannot wait to pull on the Barbarians colours again after being named in the squad to face Scotland and England next month.

The 29-year-old, who underwent surgery on an injured thumb following the final game of the RBS 6 Nations against France, was the only European player in the Baa-Baas line-up that faced New Zealand at Twickenham late last year.

And the Sicilian, who also crossed for a try in that match, is delighted to have been asked to play once more.

Is a great joy to be part of it again, especially after been injured for a month. It is a great achievement for me, for the Italian national team and for my club too, he said on www.federugby.it.

The Barbarians first meet Scotland in Edinburgh on May 24 and four days later they will play England at Twickenham.
