France and Stade Francais winger Christophe Dominici has been given the all-clear to resume playing four weeks after suffering concussion during the RBS 6 Nations match against Italy.
The Frenchman was left unconscious following a collision with prop Salvatore Perugini in the 35th minute of Frances 56-13 hammering of the Italians in Rome on March 19.
He was then taken to hospital where doctors declared there was no serious damage, but the International Rugby Boards rules state that a player who has suffered concussion should not play for at least 21 days.
However, Dominici, who missed out on Stade Francais' European Cup quarter-final clash with Newcastle at the start of April as well as two other Top 16 ties, is now fit to play again and will feature against Castres in the Top 16 game on Saturday.
''He is less irritated, he is sleeping well and is suffering less drowsiness,'' said neurologist Francois Chermann, who has been looking after Dominici.
''His psychological tests have also improved and he has less memory and concentration problems.
''This is all reassuring and he can play this weekend's match without any problem.''
