Scotland internationals Chris Cusiter and Bruce Douglas return to The Borders team for the Celtic League clash at Ulster.
Scrum-half Cusiter was forced to miss the final RBS 6 Nations game against England last weekend with an Achilles injury but is available for the match at Ravenhill on Friday.
The return of the 22-year-old will also be a bonus for Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward with Cusiter emerging as a potential tourist for the summer tour of New Zealand.
Borders head coach Steve Bates said: ''Chris is fine now. He trained with us and is confident with his recovery.
The team will also benefit from the return of Kelly Brown and Calum MacRae from World Cup Sevens duty in Hong Kong.
Bates added: ''Kelly had an outstanding game against the Dragons so it's great to have him back.
