The Scots take on Andy Robinsons side at Twickenham keen to finish on a high in what has been a morale-sapping campaign.

Hooker Bulloch still harbours ambitions of making Lions coach Sir Clive Woodwards pool for the summer tour to New Zealand and he believes the fact that selectors will be keeping a close eye on the game will inspire the players to victory in the Calcutta Cup.

He said: Its a massive opportunity, with the three final Six Nations games all taking place on Saturday afternoon, the Lions selectors and coaches will be looking on with a great deal of interest and its up to us to recreate the form we did in the second half against Wales.

Its up to ourselves this weekend just to go out there and do our best, we have nothing to lose.

Scotland were defeated 46-22 against Wales on Sunday in what was their third loss of the 2004 RBS 6 Nations.

The Scots finished the stronger side at Murrayfield, scoring three tries in the second period following a first 40 minutes riddled with mistakes.

And Bulloch has urged his team-mates to build on that second-half performance when they take on England.

He added: We have looked at the video for several hours, we have not done the team review as yet but, looking at the six tries they scored, each was caused by errors not so much by Wales brilliance.

There was failure in our simple one-on-one tackles and if you do that against a side that is as confident and talented as Wales are at the moment then they are going to make you pay.

Its a problem with confidence being at its lowest point for a while. Mistakes do creep in.
However, the second-half display points the way forward for Scotland, we started to look for runners and we got yardage from that to score a few tries, which was pleasing.
