I thought Ireland were very nervous against France - above all the second half.
Thats the reason why they were unable to develop their best rugby for me. France had the right motivation and Bernard Laporte has got them playing very well.

I think Ireland were under too much pressure, probably because they could have had the Grand Slam on their minds.

The Irish were nervous and feverish, and even Brian ODriscoll did not play as he usually does.

I was very impressed by the way France went about their work.

For his first cap, Benoit Baby was very interesting to watch. I also think it was a great day for Fabien Pelous to win his 100th cap - it was certainly his game.

France know now that if they play seriously, it is possible to win at Lansdowne Road.

It was not a miracle but a win built with patience. It was a complete performance by France and the quality gave me hope for the future.
