England's new captain Martin Corry described the RBS 6 Nations victory over Italy in his first match in charge as 'Boys' Own stuff'.
The Leicester Tigers number eight, who took over from the injured Jason Robinson, said: The captaincy was phenomenal for me.
It was a dream I never thought would happen. It was fantastic leading the team out.
You cant put it into words. Its Boys Own stuff really.
Corry described England, who ended their run of three successive RBS 6 Nations defeats this year, as still moving forward after the 39-7 win at Twickenham.
He said: We had confidence in what we were doing but we hadnt had the victory - now we have. We have just got to keep building on it.
Unfortunately we let them back into the game a little bit in the second half but we got the win we were desperate for.
Corry played down his choice as the official man of the match, adding: I dont take too much notice of that. I dont think I deserved it. There were a lot of people playing well.
Looking forward to next weeks final RBS 6 Nations match against Scotland at Twickenham, he added: You always need to have a bit of fear in the belly to produce your best rugby.
Scotland are an extremely dangerous side and the pressure is on for us to keep moving forward. We have taken a big stride but we are not there yet.
Meanwhile, hat-trick hero Mark Cueto was delighted with his personal display.
I'm massively happy with the performance from a personal point of view.
I've been struggling to get over the line a bit this year for both Sale and for England. But it's nice to score a hat-trick and it's just brilliant to get our first win in this year's Six Nations.
