Former Australian rugby league centre Ben MacDougall could be in line for his first cap after moving to Edinburgh Gunners in October.
Stand-off Phil Godman, also of Edinburgh, and Glasgow Warriors wing Rory Lamont are also included in the 33-man squad.
Back-row forward Paul Dearlove, prop Alasdair Dickinson, lock Alastair Kellock, hooker Scott Lawson and flanker Andrew Wilson may also be handed the chance of a Scotland debut against the Grand Slam-chasing Wales team.
