Scotland international Gordon Ross shone for Leeds Tykes as they secured a 15-6 win over London Irish in the Powergen Cup semi-final.
Centre Ross, vying for the Scotland number 10 jersey with Dan Parks, converted David Doherty's try and added a drop goal as the Tykes reached their first ever Twickenham final.
His excellent all-round display will have done his chances of an RBS 6 Nations call-up no harm as Scotland look to build on their victory over Italy - their first win of the tournament.
Lock Jon Dunbar was an unused substitute for the Tykes, while Robbie Russell was another Scottish squad member who featured in the match, but could not inspire his London Irish side to victory.
