Wales squad gather for charity auction
3 March 2005, 3:19 pm
The entire Welsh squad paid tribute on Wednesday night to Toby Cockbain, the son of international second row Brent Cockbain.
Toby died last September aged just one, after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer only two months earlier, and the rugby world turned out in force to support the charity that has been set up in his name.

British & Irish Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward and comedian Max Boyce were among the guests at the charity auction, where donated items included a cast of the silver boots which Gavin Henson kicked the match-winning penalty with against England.

Australian born Brent and his wife Kate set up The Toby Lloyd Cockbain Foundation to help raise awareness of child cancers.

Brent, 30, said, ''Kate and I have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from the Welsh squad and businesses based in South Wales, as well as the many individual people who have made donations.
