To my mind, taking a break is a good thing for the RBS 6 Nations because you don't lose any of your motivation and you keep all your fighting spirit.
When I was a player, it was important for us to have a break from the tournament, even if we played for our clubs in between. It is beneficial for the staff and for the Six Nation squads.

I think Bernard Laporte and others coaches will work hard on the good things we have seen and should be able to erase the bad things. After the England game, France need to work harder if they want to win the 2005 tournament , especially in defence. We saw lots of mistakes against England and I wish France would start scoring tries.

Regarding Serge Betsen, I know he is injured but if the medical staff give guarantees about him, it will be okay. Serge knows the game, he knows the squad well and he can play right now in his mind. But if it is not possible for him to play, the French staff will not take any risks.

As for Scotland against Italy, Scotland desperately need to win. Italy have a good squad but I do not see them beating Scotland. They are not strong enough, and are too timid.

Ireland have home advantage against England? Ireland are big challengers and have really focussed on this tournament. From what I have seen, I back Ireland to win.
