Italy prop Leandro Castrogiovanni has pledged the Azzurri will come out fighting after the heavy defeat to Wales in Rome.
The Welsh roared to a 38-8 victory on Saturday, consigning Italy to a second defeat in two RBS 6 Nations games.
But Castrogiovanni said that it was a question of cutting out their mistakes.
The game was a tricky one, to be honest, he said.
We did well in the first half and the start of the second half wasnt bad for us either.
But after that we made more and more mistakes and the Welsh punished us at every opportunity.
We have to pick up the pieces and go on in the tournament. We are a young, strong team and we still have three games to play.
The key game will be at Murrayfield (against Scotland) where it will be hard but we will go to win it.
Injuries in the game against Wales to flanker Mauro Bergamasco and full-back Roland De Marigny did not help the Italians cause.
Bergamasco has left hospital after being treated for a damaged cheekbone while De Marignys knee and ankle knocks are not considered too serious.
And Castrogiovanni was full of praise for a Welsh team who have won their opening two fixtures of the tournament and look extremely strong.
I believe the Dragons are a very good team and against us they were outstanding, he said.
I wouldnt be surprised if they won the tournament.
