France winger Christophe Dominici believes Sunday's RBS 6 Nations clash with England is the perfect opportunity for both sides to make up for recent poor displays.
Les Bleus needed a last-minute try to see off plucky Scotland last week while England slumped to an 11-9 defeat to an inspired Wales - the latest in a string of poor performances and results from both teams going back almost a year.
But Dominici believes whoever comes out on top this weekend can earn the forgiveness of their fans, so highly is this clash rated.
It will be a huge fight as usual but this time England will be looking for forgiveness after their loss to Wales,'' Dominici said.
We won last weekend but we will also be in search of forgiveness after our display.''
The diminutive winger acknowledges the size of the task awaiting his team, but having recalled last Marchs 24-21 win over England - a victory which earned Les Bleus the Grand Slam in the 2004 tournament - he will go into the clash in confident mood.
The English are the defending world champions but we beat them last year, said Dominici.
The most important thing is us, not them or what they can do.
There will be pressure around the match but it will be a good one. If we prepare well, there is no need to worry.''
