Scotland coach Matt Williams has thanked fans for their 'extraordinary' support after Saturday's RBS 6 Nations clash with Ireland at Murrayfield sold out.
All 67,800 seats at the stadium have been been snapped up after a rush for the final tickets following the narrow 16-9 defeat in France last weekend.
Williams said: ''On behalf of the team, I'd like to thank the Scottish public for their support.
Last weekend in Paris, all of us could hear Flower of Scotland being sung - which was quite extraordinary at an away venue.
''The players all spoke about it afterwards. Our support in Paris saw our players give everything they had and recognised that playing for Scotland means so much to them.
We need to do that every time we play and we're going to need that support again this weekend.
The fact the game is a sell-out is a great message about the future of Scottish rugby.''
