In contrast to the build-up to the 28-17 defeat by Ireland which saw Kirwan's squad ravaged by flu and injury, preparations for the Azzurri's second championship match have been free of problems.

Padova rookie Luciano Orquera continues at fly-half but has been relieved of the kicking duties after missing three penalties in the first half against the Irish.

Orquera's disappointing display with the boot was costly given the match was evenly balanced throughout, so Kirwan has asked in-form Parma full-back Roland de Marigny to take over.

The substitutes also remain the same as Italy look to build on last weekend's encouraging performance by beating Wales for a second time in their five-year Six Nations history.
