Jason White has urged his Scotland team-mates to build on their near-miss against France as they prepare to take on Ireland at Murrayfield on Saturday.
The battling Scots came away from their RBS 6 Nations opener at the Stade de France empty-handed following their agonising 16-9 defeat but with their pride well and truly restored.
There were lots of positives, said the tough-tackling Sale flanker, who produced his best international performance in Paris.
Everybody had written us off - no-one had given us a hope in hell of doing anything this year - so hopefully we've proved there's a bit of pride within this group and that we want to do well.
We've got to work on those little things that make the difference between winning and losing.
