All week long we heard that they were struggling a lot to regain their game and level and, in the end, their pride was probably affected by all the cristicim and they showed great rugby at the Stade de France.

France, on the other hand, proved inefficient in terms of strategy, system and organisation. They were unable to display a fluid enough game which probably made things easier for Scotland. Les Bleus only won thanks to a counter-attack.

This victory did us good in the end but the Scots should have won that match - they deserved it.

France should now be worried especially because they are travelling to England next weekend. It's going to be tough for them to improve all areas of their game within a week.

I am quite pessimistic because they showed no pride, no enthusiasm, no motivation and no combativeness. It is true there were a few new players in the team but I wonder if the coach's message is still well understood by the players.

I am worried although this is the start of the tournament and the French can be unpredictable and finish better than they started. But if they fail to be consistent in all their matches it's going to be hard. They must project a stronger image of themselves otherwise they'll find themselves facing a brick wall.

There is no time to waste but I feel France have no game at all. We were so absent against Scotland.

Regarding England's loss, I would say that I am not surprised because I still remember Wales' performance at the 2003 World Cup. Wales, who also threatened New Zealand in November, have totally changed their rugby, they are back and could well be the great surprise of this year's tournament alongside Ireland.

For the Irish, meanwhile, it seems 2005 is the best year to impose themselves in the European hierarchy. They are strong, have a favorable schedule and every chance of winning the Six Nations.
