England captain Jason Robinson believes England's back-line to face Wales in the RBS 6 Nations opener will pose a real threat.
Many people expect Saturdays game at the Millennium Stadium to be a straight fight between Englands pack and Wales backs, but Robinson does not believe it will be as simple as that.
A lot of people have retired, a lot are injured and there are a lot of new faces but I am sure this team will do a good job, said Robinson.
Theres been a lot of talk this week about whos not playing but I think the team that is playing is a very exciting team. Weve got a lot of pace in our backs.
Im excited about our backs and hopefully well cause them a lot of problems.
The skipper also insisted there would be no underestimating a Welsh side which has not beaten England since the Grand Slam-busting match at Wembley in 1999, but which did embarrass England in the first half of the World Cup quarter-final 14 months ago.
If we dont get our kick and chase right they will cause us problems, said Robinson.
Weve done our homework, we know what they are all about. Theyve made comments about exciting and entertaining the crowd but the main thing for us is just winning the game.
The main thing about England is our strength in depth. If guys are good enough we believe they are old enough. And we believe we have got a team to beat Wales.
It has been an extraordinary rise for Robinson since he switched rugby codes four-and-a-half years ago.
On Thursday he confessed that when he was a rugby league star with Wigan he hadnt a clue about the interest generated by the Six Nations.
Now I know its the highlight of the international calendar, said Robinson.
These are the games all the guys want to play in. And this season is even more important because a good performance could put guys in contention for a Lions spot.
