Mike Ruddock's French-based stars came through their club matches unscathed on Saturday as the Wales coach prepares to name his side to face England in their RBS 6 Nations opener next weekend.
Key players Gareth Thomas of Toulouse and Stephen Jones of Clermont-Auvergne both ended their French Championship matches injury-free with Thomas helping his side to a 46-10 win over Beziers and Jones kicking 16 points in his team's 36/16 victory over Bayonne.
Thomas played only 55 minutes of Toulouse's win, which leaves them second behind Stade Francais in the championship.
Wales' most capped player Gareth Llewellyn was released from Narbonne's squad for their 20-0 defeat at Perpignan, while in the English Premiership hooker Mefin Davies survived injury in Gloucester's 28-16 win against Worcester.
But prop Iestyn Thomas, who was looking to prove to Ruddock he had recovered from a neck injury in time to face England, did not make his expected comeback in the Llanelli Scarlets' 32-17 Celtic League win over Munster.
