Italy's victory over an Italian League All-Star team on Saturday was marred by possible injuries to Fabio Ongaro, Salvatore Costanzo and Matteo Barbini.
The extent of the injuries are unclear, but the loss of Treviso front rows Ongaro and Costanzo and Petrarca Padova centre Barbini would be a massive blow to coach John Kirwan ahead of their RBS 6 Nations opener against Ireland next Sunday.
Italy won the game 31-14 thanks to tries from Mauro Bergamasco, Ludovico Nitoglia (2), Roberto Pedrazzi and Andrea Scanavacca, although Sergio Parisse was the real star, dominating the back row for the Azzurri.
The match, against a selection of the best foreign talent in Italys domestic Super 10 competition, took place in the Sicilian town of Catania.
