Taylor to join Scots camp

Injured British and Irish Lion Simon Taylor will attend a pre-RBS 6 Nations Scotland training camp.

The 25-year-old is still recovering from knee ligament damage and may miss the tournament, although he is still expected to be selected for the Lions' tour of New Zealand later this year.

The Edinburgh number eight was among 46 players named by Scotland coach Matt Williams for a national training squad camp at Murrayfield on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 January.

The squad will be trimmed for a training camp the following week, and it is that second list from which Scotland will select for the RBS 6 Nations Championship.
