France team manager Jo Maso has urged his side to show they have what it takes to bounce back from defeat to Argentina when they take on the All Blacks in the final November Test at the Stade de France on Saturday.
After turning in an almost flawless display to defeat Australia 27-14 on November 13, Les Bleus fell back to old ways last weekend and suffered a 24-14 loss to the Pumas in front of the Velodrome fans.
We must bounce back even though it will be tough against the All Blacks, said Maso.
We rely on the players desire to surpass themselves. They owe us a good display after last weekends performance.
They have disappointed people and maybe that is also the fault of the staff, as we win and lose the matches all together.
Scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili has pulled out of for France after being earmarked to replace the injured Jean-Baptiste Elissalde. The Biarritz man has failed to overcome a right calf problem.
Coach Bernard Laporte will as a consequence switch Frederic Michalak as cover for Yachvili while Julien Peyrelongue will take Michalaks place at fly-half.
Agen's Mathieu Barrau takes Peyrelongue's place on the bench.
Centre Brian Liebenberg and prop Pieter de Villiers also both return to the starting line-up.
New Zealand captain Tana Umaga is fearing a France backlash on Saturday after Les Bleus' loss to Argentina.
On Tuesday, New Zealand coach Graham Henry spoke about the terrible contrast which France are sometimes capable of showing, but Umaga believes they will be back to their best on Saturday.
I have played them many times and I remember emotional losses against them, said Umaga.
France are the defending Six Nations champions and two weeks ago, they played really well against the Wallabies.
And I fear that on Saturday they will play like they did against Australia rather than Argentina.
Umaga, who was rested for the Wales match, will form part of a re-jigged centre pairing as he links back up with Wellington Hurricanes club-mate Conrad Smith in the backs, the duo replacing Canterbury Crusaders pair Aaron Mauger and Casey Lualala.
Other changes include scrum-half Piru Weepu, who made his debut against Wales, dropping to the bench to be replaced by Byron Kelleher, and the return of Otago Highlanders duo Anton Oliver and Carl Hayman in the front row.
