Troncon pulls out of squad

Italy scrum-half Alessandro Troncon has ruled himself out of their three Test series next month for personal reasons.

The 31-year-old former captain, who has 85 caps and has scored 13 tries for Italy, has been replaced in coach John Kirwan's 30-man squad by Arix Viadana's Piero Travagli, an Azzurri Under-21 international.

Italy play Canada in L'Aquila on November 6, New Zealand in Rome on November 13 and the United States in Biella on November 27.
