Ireland Under-21 international Paul Devlin has signed a contract with Munster and is included in their European Cup squad.
Devlin, whose father is from Dublin, was educated in England, captained England Under-18s and played for England Under-19s in the World Cup. He also played league and has continually switched codes during his rugby career to date.
Devlin was introduced into the Exiles system by former British & Irish Lions and Exiles president, John ODriscoll. The Exiles brought the wing/centre to the attention of the Ireland Under-21 selectors and he was soon wearing the green of Ireland.
Since playing for Ireland Under-21s, Devlin has been playing union for Sale and league for Widnes. He was brought to the attention of the home Provinces last November, with Munster in particular showing strong interest.
