Garbajosa blow for France

France centre Xavier Garbajosa has been ruled for eight weeks after spraining ligaments in his left knee, and will subsequently miss November's internationals against Australia, Argentina and New Zealand.

It is a real blow for Garbajosa who looked to be rediscovering his top form having missed most of last season with a problem to his right knee.

He sustained the latest injury playing for Toulouse in their 39-5 thrashing of Bourgoin in the Top 16 on Friday.

Garbajosa could be back in action for Toulouses last two Top 16 matches of the year against Auch and Pau on December 17 and 23, respectively.
