Sir Clive Woodward has refused to rule out a return as England's rugby union coach in the future.
Woodward quit the post at the beginning of this month, saying he would pursue a career in other sports following next years British Lions tour.
But he insists he remains a rugby man who could be persuaded back if a new challenge presented itself.
Woodward told BBC Radio Five Lives Sportsweek: Ive not turned my back at all.
At the moment there is no job I can see Id want to do in rugby union.
I need to move on and hopefully people will look back on what Ive given to the sport and theyll be happy with what Ive done.
Im a professional coach and my background is in rugby union. It is very difficult to rule out anything.
Woodward intends to move into football coaching and is already taking his primary coaching badges.
But he says the Lions need not worry about his commitment for his last job before his unlikely career switch.
Woodward added: At the moment the Lions is everything for me - it is just a small mark behind winning the World Cup.
To work with the Scottish, Welsh and Irish players will be fantastic.
You just look forward and I am looking forward to this year tremendously, to working for the Lions and to potentially working in other sports in a years time.
