Abbott apart, European and English Premiership champions Wasps will also be without fly-half Alex King, centre Fraser Waters and lock Simon Shaw for Thursday nights Anglo-Celtic Challenge match against Llanelli Scarlets at Stradey Park.

King is suffering from a slight knee strain, while Waters is recovering from ankle surgery he underwent two weeks ago and Shaw rests a neck strain.
