Hinshelwood to lead Worcester

Scotland RBS 6 Nations star Ben Hinshelwood will captain Worcester during their inaugural English Premiership campaign.

The 27-year-old has been confirmed as the clubs new skipper, while South African hooker Andre van Niekerk became their 13th and latest pre-season signing.

Coaching team John Brain and Andy Keast have already recruited French international Thomas Lombard, Australian Tom Bowman and South African Thinus Delport and retained 21 of last season's squad.

Worcester won all 26 games en route to clinching the National League One title last season and will be confident they can certainly hold their own among English rugby's elite.
