Glasgow full-back Stuart Moffat has replaced the injured Chris Paterson in Scotland's squad for the forthcoming Tests against Australia.
Paterson suffered a triple fracture of his right cheekbone in last Friday's victory over Samoa and on Sunday underwent surgery in Sydney.
Head coach Matt Williams has been evaluating suitable replacements since Friday and confirmed that Moffat, who won three caps for Scotland in 2002, will join the squad in Australia.
Moffat made a try-scoring international debut against Romania in 2002 and was Scotland's full-back for the famous 21-6 win over South Africa at Murrayfield a week later, their first over the Springboks since 1969.
Scotland play the Wallabies twice, in Melbourne this coming Sunday and at Sydney's Telstra Stadium a week on Saturday.
