Scotland coach Matt Williams has praised Bath head coach John Connolly for allowing Simon Danielli and Scott Gray to fly out to Australia with the rest of the international squad.
Connolly has let the pair travel Down Under after the game against the Barbarians at Murrayfield, despite preparing for the English Premiership play-off final against Wasps.
Wing Danielli and back-row forward Gray will travel to Brisbane with the squad after amicable discussions between the Scotland and Bath coaches.
Williams said: "I'm pleased to report after amicable dialogue with Bath Rugbys head coach John Connolly that both Simon and Scott will leave on our national tour.
I would not have denied the players an opportunity to play in the Zurich Premiership play-off final against London Wasps next Saturday, nor would Bath Rugby have denied the players the chance to tour for their country.
As Bath Rugby have not selected either player in their starting XV for next weekend, they have been released for the tour.
I'd like to thank Bath Rugby and John Connolly for the manner in which they have conducted business.
