Kirwan pleased with Cup draw

Italy coach John Kirwan was satisfied by his team's placing in the draw for the 2007 World Cup.

If the Azzurri finish in the top two of the European qualification table, they will face New Zealand and Scotland in Pool C.

Im very happy to be going into Pool C which is the best for us and we have a good chance to qualify for the next round, Kirwan told www.federugby.it.

Im waiting to discover the calendar with the dates of the games and Im a bit worried about it after the last World Cup.

Italy will be hoping to avoid a repeat of their hectic schedule in the 2003 tournament, which saw them play four games in just 14 days.
